So we've got summer here. The last month has been quite good, a lot of sun and warm temperatures. Mostly. I got summer holidays and a lot of time. Time for my camera, shootings, deviantART...
The time, as there were -10°C outside, has passed. I planned a lot in the winter months. I got a lot of inspiration here and there were many techniques, angles and motives I wanted to try in the warmer months. Outside, hopefully with an model with a large amount of time and patience. Wait, didn't I tell you it's summer now?
You're right. It IS summer. And as you can see, my shots are worsening for every upload. I feel like I'm an accident-shooter. My good shots aren't created, they're luck. Or are they? I'm forlorn in a summer recess, sitting in a room day for day. I don't know my photography-skills any longer. I don't know what I've done. I don't know what I can do and have to do.

I went out for shooting some butterflies outside my house. I got my kit-lens mounted on and got some shots. As the butterflies flew away when I came too close, I chose to switch to my tele. The close-up range is horrible - but I tried to do my best. And I am, like with the previous Deviation, not satisfied with my results. The shots are blurred, the focus looks wrong, the perspective is (excuse me please) shitty. I'm sharing few of my shots with the hope for comments and critique. I want to improve - I NEED to improve.

Isn't that why we are here? Isn't it the dialogue between other like-minded people the main-subject of this beautiful place? Come on, does a comment hurt?

I'll be away from the internet for about 3 weeks. My iPhone will help me surviving without Email but traffic is very expensive outside the borders of germany. Thanks T-mobile in advice. 2 Weeks in Vedersø Klit, Ulfborg, Denmark are waiting. 1 additional week in Sweden (location unknown) will help me to pass the recess. I hope I'll have some better shots to share than the last Deviantions.
